1. If I send you a photo of what I like will you copy that for me?

While a visual is great to help me, I do not copy other cakes- generally i cant even exactly replicate my own designs, however I’m happy to use the photo as inspiration for your cake. I will always create something unique for your event still in my style.

2. When is payment required? 

​

I require a 50% non-refundable deposit on all orders to secure your booking. Please note your order is NOT secure until the deposit has been paid. 

​

3. What if I need to cancel/postpone my booking but I’ve paid a deposit?

 

Unfortunately the deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances. However if you need to postpone your booking within 7 days of collection day due to extenuating circumstances I will allow you to keep the difference between the deposit and what you have paid as a credit to be used within 3 months.

For example, Your cake is due Saturday, but Tuesday you need to cancel the party as someone is unwell this falls within 7 days, meaning you can use full amount paid as a credit to use within 3 months.

​

5. Can I taste the flavours before I book?

 

At this stage we are unable to offer free samples. However we do offer sample boxes- head over to the Sample Box tab for further details.

 

 

6. Can I have a price list?

 

At Vanilla and Blossom Cake Design we don’t have a generic price list. There are so many variations on flavours, styles and sizes we couldn’t possibly provide a list for them all.

However, I have listed a small guide below for our most common sizes.

Extended 6" cakes, to serve approx 25 coffee portions starting from - $170 +$5 for flowers

Extended 7" cake, to serve approx 35 coffee portions- starting from $220 + $10 for flowers

Extended 8" cakes to serve approx 40 coffee portions starting from - $290 + $15-$20 for flowers

Extended 8" and 6" two tier cakes to serve approx 65-70 coffee portions starting from - $500

Extended 10", 8" and 6" 3 tier cakes to serve approx 120 coffee portions starting from - $700

Given the increased cost of goods we have had to implement a small price increase to cover the cost of goods.

7. It’s for a wedding, do you provide flowers?

 

Yes, I work closely with a local florist and I can arrange to have flowers match your colour theme. Advise if you wish for flowers and I can quote accordingly.

Given the increase in costs of good we have had to implement a small price increase for florals 

 

 

8. Do you charge more for wedding cakes?

 

To put it simply - no. We don't charge “wedding premiums" or add on "wedding tax” 

 

Each cake is quoted based on the overall design, size and servings - the event does not alter the cost.
